People who have discovered significance are those who know God and live their lives according to His plan. That plan is laid out in God’s Book, the Bible. Psalm 119:105 puts it like this: “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”
“This Bible is God’s Bible; and when I see it, I seem to hear a voice springing up from it, saying ‘I am the Book of God. Man, read me. I am God’s writing. Study my pages, for I was penned by God. Love me, for He is my Author, and you will see Him visible and manifest everywhere.’”
John Henry Newman, a cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church, was born in London in 1801. He graduated from Oxford in 1820 and for several years was a tutor at that college. He was a leader of the High Church party in the Church of England and had great influence among the young men at Oxford.
